Ritika Naik Shocks, Openly Admits Sai Pallavi Influence!

Ritika Naik recently spoke about her career and the actors who inspire her. At a press meet in Hyderabad, she talked about her latest film, Mirai, where she plays Vibha, a young woman with superpowers. Known for Ashokavanamlo Arjunakalyanam and Hi Nanna, Ritika said she immediately agreed to this film after hearing the story. She was drawn to its mix of fantasy, action, and love. Vibha is a calm, strong character, very different from Ritika’s own lively personality, which she described as both challenging and exciting.

Much of Mirai was shot in real locations, including snowy mountains and forests. Ritika called the experience adventurous and appreciated the support of her crew and co-stars. She praised Teja Sajja for his dedication and enjoyed sharing screen space with Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Manchu Manoj. She also shared a fun anecdote about her bond with director Karthik Ghattamaneni: because their birthdays are a day apart, he calls her “Akka” and she calls him “Tammudu.” Ritika said the producers, T.G. Vishwaprasad and Krithi Prasad, made sure nothing was compromised during the shoot, which made her experience memorable.

Ritika also admitted that she admires Sai Pallavi and takes inspiration from her acting. She was particularly impressed by the way Sai expresses emotions with her eyes in films like Fidaa. Ritika said she wants to bring a similar natural charm to her own performances. She enjoys working on action and romantic stories, and she believes Mirai will help her reach a wider audience. She is also working on projects with Varun Tej and a film called Duet, with a few other projects lined up.

On the language front, Ritika said she understands most of Telugu and is working to speak it fluently. She hopes to dub her own lines in future films to make her performances more authentic.
