In an interview on Ranveer Alahabadia's YouTube channel, Mrunal admitted that her boyfriend left her because she's an actress. She explained, "He left, saying, 'You're too impulsive, I can't handle this,' and 'You're an actress, I can't handle this.' I understand his perspective since he comes from a traditional background. I don't blame him; I think it's how he was raised. It's good that this chapter ended because when we have kids in the future, his upbringing would differ from mine. The kids might wonder, 'What's going on?'"

Meanwhile, During a recent conversation with India Today, Mrunal was asked if she's feeling pressure from her family to get married soon. She replied, "Yes, there's pressure, but if I find someone, that's okay. I'm not actively searching for a man." The Sita Ramam actress humorously added, "But there's someone I'd like to find, and that's Keanu Reeves. He is my crush. I'd love to meet him."
