Mrunal Hurt While Shooting, Adivi Sesh Sparks Buzz

Mrunal Thakur, after Sita Ramam, Hi Nanna, and Family Star, is back in Hyderabad shooting for her fourth Telugu film, Dacoit. She stars alongside Adivi Sesh in this love-revenge drama directed by Shaneil Deo. A recently shared on-set photo showed her with a visible forehead bruise, captioned with a sharp line “Sabka badla legi JULIET!” hinting at the intense tone of her role.

In the earlier promo glimpse, Adivi Sesh refers to Mrunal’s character as Juliet, setting up a story of former lovers turned enemies. Both actors are expected to give strong performances, and their connection in the film comes more from pain and conflict than love. Mrunal’s role, in particular, appears to break away from her softer parts in past films.

Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang under Annapurna Studios, Dacoit is set for a December 25 release. The mix of personal stakes and action, along with strong leads, makes it a film to watch out for this Christmas.
