A newly released making-of video for Agadha pulls back the curtain on the enormous effort that went into crafting this mystical divine thriller. More than a typical BTS clip, it reveals the passion, precision, and teamwork that shaped the film’s bold vision.
Director-writer M. S. Raju features prominently, personally overseeing each phase of production as the cast and crew bring the project to life on sprawling sets and demanding locations. The footage highlights everything from elaborate set construction and tightly choreographed action to detailed camera moves, lighting setups, and VFX planning — underscoring the film’s scale and ambition.
Lead actors Shravan Reddy (Simha) and Kamakshi Bhaskarla (Mahadevi) appear preparing for their roles and performing intense sequences, demonstrating the cast’s deep commitment. Agadha’s promotional campaign has already stirred strong interest, thanks to striking posters and character reveals that have piqued both audience curiosity and trade excitement. Distributors have shown notable enthusiasm, with many eyeing theatrical rights even prior to the teaser debut.
Produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under Sri Adi Varaha Productions and presented by Ajay KR, Agadha is written and directed by M. S. Raju and is being positioned as one of the most ambitious mystical divine thrillers in recent memory. The film is being simultaneously produced in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
The technical team includes music composer Rakesh Venkatapuram, cinematographer Nani Chamidishetty, editor Junaid Siddiqui, and production designer Rajeev Nair. Additional screenplay work is by Chaitanya Vegi, with NVN Subbaraju serving as executive producer. Agadha is currently in post-production and moving into its next phase of promotions, with a release scheduled for August 14.
