'Agadha' Poised for a Grand Global Arrival on August 14

With its worldwide theatrical release scheduled for August 14, ‘Agadha’ is steadily emerging as one of the most talked-about releases of the Independence Day weekend, backed by growing trade confidence across multiple territories.

Following the impressive response to its trailer, the film received offers from several distributors. However, director M. S. Raju has chosen to release the film independently through Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios, reflecting his strong belief in ‘Agadha’ and its theatrical prospects.

The film’s release strategy has now been finalized across all major territories, paving the way for a wide global release.

One of the biggest highlights is the USA release by Moksha Movies. Initially planning to release the film on just 14 screens, the distributor reportedly expanded the rollout to 140 screens after watching the completed film, signaling increasing confidence in its commercial potential.

In the Telugu states, ‘Agadha’ will be released through the exhibition network of Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios. V.K. Films, the distribution company associated with Hombale Films, will release the film in Karnataka, while the reputed ‘S’ Pictures will handle the Tamil Nadu distribution.

The trailer has introduced ‘Agadha’ as an ambitious supernatural mystery set against a powerful divine and mystical backdrop. Its reverse-chronological storytelling, large-scale CGI, stunning visuals and haunting background score have created considerable curiosity among audiences.

Starring Kamakshi Bhaskarla (Polimera) and Shravan Reddy (Dirty Hari), ‘Agadha’ is written and directed by M. S. Raju. The film is produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner and presented by Ajay KR.

With its distribution network firmly in place and promotions entering the final phase, ‘Agadha’ is all set to arrive in theatres worldwide on August 14.
