Finally, Agent Arriving On OTT: What’s The Date?

Akhil Akkineni's action thriller Agent is ready for its worldwide digital premiere on March 14, which is nearly two years after the actual theatrical release of the film.

As is known, Agent showcases the story of ambitious RAW agent Rickey (Akhil Akkineni), assigned an important mission by RAW chief Colonel Mahadev, aka The Devil (Mammootty). Rickey goes undercover as a beginner to catch former RAW agent Dharma, aka GOD (Dino Morea), who is on a dangerous plan to destroy India. Tension escalates when the mission takes an unexpected turn. What follows is an adrenaline-pumping action ride.

The ensemble cast of Agent includes many other talented actors, including Vikramjeet Virk, Denzel Smith, Sampath Raj, Murali Sharma and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. While renowned writer Vakkantham Vamsi penned the story of this film, director Surender Reddy wrote the screenplay.

Agent will be streaming exclusively on Sony LIV from March 14, 2025. This has to be one of the most delayed films in the Indian cinema space when it comes to the release window between theatrical release and OTT release.

The film was outrightly rejected by the theatrical audience for its poor content, and we have to see if it will do any better on OTT now as it prepares for debut on SonyLIV on March 14.
