Just like every month, August is also coming up with a mix of big, small and medium films. Some of these releases are very crucial for the heroes due to various reasons. Let us start with the big films from senior actors like Megastar Chiranjeevi and superstar Rajnikanth.

Chiru is arriving with 'Bholaa Shankar' on 11th August and it is a remake of 'Vehdalam'. It is a complete commercial film and Chiru needs to continue his hit run that started with 'Waltair Veerayya'. This is a make-or-break movie for Meher Ramesh too as one cannot see the chance of him getting an offer again if this film flops.

It has been a very long time since Rajnikanth delivered a super hit. His movies like 'Petta' and 'Darbar' did well in Tamil but failed in Telugu states. Even '2.0' was a cost failure. His last outing 'Annathe' was a disaster that ran only because of Rajni's brand. He needs to deliver a hit with 'Jailer' which is releasing on the 10th. Director Nelson too needs to recover after a failure like 'Beast' last year.

Naveen Polishetty who won the hearts of many with 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya' and 'Jathiratnalu' has had a long gap since then. He is arriving with 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty' in this month. Anushka is the lead actress and this movie needs to be a hit in order to cement Naveen's position as a bankable hero in Tollywood.

Varun Tej is arriving with 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna' on the 25th of August. The Mega Prince is in need of a hit right now as his last outing 'Ghani' turned out to be a disaster. Even Praveen Sattaru is looking to bounce back after 'Ghost' failure. Karthikeya is looking to prove his existence with 'Bedurulanka 2012' as all his films post 'RX100' turned out to be failures.

Srikanth Addala is planning to make a mass comeback with 'Pedha Kapu 1'. Post 'Brahmotsavam', Addala's market went down drastically and he was trolled heavily. He left his family director image and tried his hand in making a rustic rural political drama. We need to see this film turns out. Even Simha Koduri who took a beating with 'Bhaag Saale' is coming with 'Ustaad' this month. We need to see what happens.
