Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 Completes Censor Formalities

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has officially cleared the much-awaited action film Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, directed by Boyapati Sreenu and starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. The movie has received a U/A certificate, confirming that it is suitable for a wide audience with parental guidance.

The film completed its censor formalities recently and the makers happily announced the news on Sunday. Akhanda 2: Thaandavam has a total run time of 166 minutes, which is 2 hours and 44 minutes. The team also shared that the movie will release worldwide on December 5.

The production house, 14 Reels Plus, posted an update on its X page, saying that the movie is ready for release and that the “Thaandavam shall rule the world” from December 5.

Director Boyapati Sreenu, known for his mass action blockbusters has crafted this sequel on a grand scale. Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta have produced the film, while M. Tejaswini Nandamuri is presenting it. Music director S. Thaman has composed an energetic background score which is expected to lift the film’s high-voltage scenes. The cast includes Samyuktha as the female lead, Aadhi Pinisetty in an important role and Harshali Malhotra in a key character.
