Glimpse Video: Akhil Akkineni Goes Pushpa Way!

Talented young hero, Akhil Akkineni has been raring to deliver commercial success. There is a lot depending on his upcoming film Lenin which had its glimpse video released today on the occasion of Akhil’s birthday.

Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments, two powerhouse banners in Telugu cinema, have come together for Akhil Akkineni’s highly awaited sixth film, officially titled Lenin. The title glimpse was unveiled by producers Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Vamsi on the occasion of Akhil’s birthday, offering fans a first look into this intense action drama.

Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame, Lenin is set in the gritty, emotion-charged backdrop of rural Rayalaseema. The glimpse opens with divine and symbolic visuals, setting a powerful tone. Akhil stuns in a rugged new look—sporting long hair and a thick mustache—bringing a raw, macho presence to the screen.

The glimpse also introduces Sree Leela as the female lead. Akhil delivers a hard-hitting dialogue in authentic Rayalaseema slang:

“Puttetappudu oopiri vuntadhi ra, peru vundadu. Poyetappudu oopiri vundadu, peru matrame vuntadhi,” hinting at the film’s emotional depth and philosophical undertones.

With the tagline “No war is more violent than love,” the film promises to explore intense themes of love, conflict, and transformation. The gripping visuals, captured by Naveen Kumar I, are elevated by Thaman’s powerful background score and Naveen Nooli’s sharp editing.

This is one of the most ambitious attempts by Akhil and there’s a lot riding on the same. Film has started with the shooting process already, and it is likely to release towards the end of this year or early next year.
