At a time when Akhil Akkineni is enjoying the first success of his career as his “Lenin”, directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, has taken by storm before meeting a sharp dip at the box office, trend-observers are noticing where the actor should improve. In fact, Lenin has collected almost ₹62+ crores gross from the box office in its 11 days of run, and that’s great for the struggling hero. However, he has focused on certain things now.

Especially when it comes to raking up huge collections, the overseas audience plays a great role, because there the ticket prices are in dollars, and the film will earn more even if fewer crowds watch it. Coming to Lenin, the film collected around ₹10.3 gross from the overseas markets, which means it grossed just a bit over $1 million from the Overseas market, and that explains something. Collecting a million is a big thing, but one has to stabilise that market and take it up from there.

That market stability depends on the choice of films Akhil will make from now. Though he tried his hand at the family genre, love story and others earlier, nothing worked for him. Sometimes, even films like Court and then mass movies like KGF have shaken the overseas market. So Akhil has to find the content that works, irrespective of the genre, such that his overseas boat will be steadied. So fans are also eagerly waiting to see what he’s going to do to consolidate the local and overseas markets from now on.
