Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film Lenin has already faced many delays in shooting and release. After a long wait, the team finally announced June 26 as the release date. Even though the date was pushed far from the earlier plan, fans stayed calm and hoped that the film would come out with good quality. They believed that a better movie is more important than an early release.

However situation is still not fully clear. There are reports that the team is again thinking about changing the release date. Two new options are being discussed. One possible date is June 4. But on the same day, Yash’s film Toxic is also expected to release. Though it was officially announced, there are still some doubts about whether Toxic will come on that date.

The production house behind Toxic is currently facing several issues. There were problems with another film’s censor process, and also piracy issues have created tension in the industry. Because of this, some people believe Toxic may get delayed. But as per the latest talk in Bengaluru makers are trying hard to release it on time.

If Toxic arrives as planned then Lenin may have to stay on June 25 or 26. But another film Peddi is also considering similar dates. This creates confusion. If both films release together then it may affect box office collections.

There is also a strong connection between the producers of these films. So a direct clash seems unlikely. Releasing Lenin as a solo film is seen as the best option. The movie can get better openings and higher collections without competition.

Still, if the release date changes again, Akhil fans may not stay silent. They have already waited a long time. Another delay or confusion could make them very upset.
