Nayanthara Joins Yash’s Upcoming Thriller Toxic; Feets Inside

Actor Akshay Oberoi has revealed exciting details about the upcoming film Toxic starring Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas. In a recent interview, Akshay confirmed his involvement in the project and shared that renowned actress Nayanthara will play a key role in the movie.

Speaking about the film, Akshay stated, "I'm currently shooting for Toxic with Yash, and Nayanthara is also part of the cast. However, I cannot share much more as the makers prefer keeping things under wraps." While the official announcement about the cast is awaited, Akshay's remarks have sparked enthusiasm among fans.

According to early reports, Nayanthara is rumored to play Yash's elder sister in the movie. There are also speculations that she replaced Kareena Kapoor Khan in this pivotal role. Alongside Nayanthara, the film is rumored to feature Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Shruti Haasan and others in prominent roles. Notably Shruti Haasan has lent her voice to the movie's teaser track which was released in 2024.

Toxic is described as an action-packed thriller revolving around the drug trade in Goa. A teaser released for Yash’s birthday potrayed the actor in a stylish all-white look causing chaos inside a casino hinting at the high-octane drama expected in the film.
