A Lot Of Concerns Over Akshay's Much-Hyped Action Flick!
This movie will be arriving on Eid and it is a high-budget action thriller which features Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff as the main leads.
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Feb 2024 7:22 AM GMTAkshay is delivering one flop after another. His 'Bell Bottom' which came out last year did not perform well commercially. 'Atrangi Re' which came out on directly on Hotstar got negative talk. His 'Bachchan Pandey', a remake of 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh', turned out to be a debacle at the box office despite having a star cast including him, Arshad Warsi, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez. His 'Prithviraj', 'Cutputli', 'Ram Sethu', 'Selfiee' did not succeed at the box office as well.
Despite 'OMG 2' becoming a success, Akshay did not have a full-length role in the movie and his 'Mission Raniganj' was a cost failure despite getting good reviews. His reputation of being a bankable hero is in serious danger. While the remake of 'Aakasame Nee Haddu Ra' is in the making, the one film for which everyone has been waiting for is 'Bade Miyan Chota Miyan'.
This movie will be arriving on Eid and it is a high-budget action thriller which features Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff as the main leads. Ali Abbas Zafar who made movies like 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'Sultan' and 'Bharat' is directing this film. There was a lot of hype and many expected the film to be a sure shot hit. But there is a serious prospect that it might not impress the audience.
Movies with a patriotic touch that deals with India-Pakistan rivalry are not working out these days. Whether it is 'Fighter' or 'Tiger 3', none of them met the expectations. The teaser of 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' did not impress the audience. Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing the villain's role in this flick. The makers shot this film extensively in locations like Jordan, Abu Dhabi, London, Mumbai, Scotland and more
Also, Akshay's poor track record in recent times paired with Tiger's flop streak with films like 'Heropanti 2' and 'Ganpath' is making everyone concerned. We need to see how the movie turns out when it arrives.
