Sometimes, a calm workout can turn into unexpected drama, and that’s exactly what happened with Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt in Mumbai. The actress, who is currently on a film break, was spotted indulging in paddleball for fitness at her residence. Her upcoming release Alpha, under Yash Raj Films and directed by Shiv Rawal, has her fans waiting eagerly, especially after last year’s Jigra failed to impress. But in the middle of her downtime, an off-court moment grabbed more attention than the game itself.

According to onlookers, as soon as Alia stepped out of her car to play paddleball, a crowd of photographers rushed towards her. Their enthusiasm didn’t stop at the gate, they reportedly tried to follow her into the building premises. That’s when Alia, visibly upset, turned to them and firmly said, “Don’t come in… Please go out… This is not your building.” The video of her reaction has since spread like wildfire online, sparking debates about the limits of celebrity access.

Social media reactions have been split. Many netizens backed Alia, arguing that paparazzi should respect personal space and understand that celebrities, too, have private lives. Some even went further, saying such aggressive chasing could be dangerous. “Have some common sense,” one user wrote. “It’s not right to corner someone for a photo.” Others, however, argued that fame naturally comes with public attention, though the majority seemed to side with Alia’s plea for boundaries.

Meanwhile, her professional calendar looks intense. Alpha, releasing on December 25, will be the first female-led spy thriller in YRF’s Spy Universe. She’s also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War. For now, though, Alia’s viral moment in Mumbai has turned into yet another reminder, stars may shine on screen, but they deserve peace off it.
