It is Bollywood's top actress Alia Bhatt's 31st birthday and she had a grand party last night with her close friends and family members at her residence. Married to Ranbir Kapoor, Alia became a mother last year and is successfully enjoying her parenthood whilst ruling the roost in Bollywood. She made her entry in Hindi cinema with 'Student Of The Year' which was released back in 2012.

After getting the role, she lost 16 kilos of weight to suit the character and went on to do hit films like '2 States', 'Kapoor & Sons', 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', 'Highway' and many more. Despite the success, she was trolled a lot and people even criticised her for being a product of Nepotism. But she proved them wrong time and again with her terrific performances in movies like 'Raazi', 'Udta Punjab', 'Gully Boy', 'Sadak 2' and many more. Her majestic portrayal of Gangubai's character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film earned her a National Award.

Her last outing was 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' which became a super hit. She is currently working on a couple of big projects along with producing films. She was the executive producer for 'Poacher' and bankrolled her own film 'Darlings' in 2022. She is producing and acting in 'Jigra'.

Talking about the advice she received from SS Rajamouli during 'RRR', she said, “Very early on in my career, my goal was to be the most loved person in the world, especially for the movies that I do and the characters I play. He said, there is no formula, he said to do anything with love. Even if the film doesn't work, the love in your eyes will connect with the audience and eventually that is what you look for is to build a one-on-one relationship with your audience. Today, when I meet people, they talk to me about my work, I feel like they know me, and I know them.”
