Allari Naresh’s Kanaka Durga Begins with Surekha Konidela as Chief Guest

The new Telugu movie Kanaka Durga was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony. The event was attended by many popular film personalities, with Surekha Konidela as the chief guest. The film is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Temple Town Pictures, marking Applause Entertainment’s entry into Tollywood.

The movie stars Allari Naresh in the lead role, with Kajal Chowdary as the female lead. Actor Subbaraju plays an important role. The film is directed by Pradeep Maddali, while the story is written by B.V.S. Ravi. Producers include Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Ajit Thakur, and B.V.S. Ravi.

Kanaka Durga is said to be a devotional film with a mix of action, emotions, and music. The story is inspired by Indian culture and spirituality, and it will present a divine world based on goddess power. The makers promise a rich cinematic experience for the audience.

Many well-known guests attended the launch event, including Allu Aravind, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Harish Shankar, Kona Venkat, Prashanth Varma, Madhura Sreedhar, and others. The ceremony ended with a special tribute to Goddess Kanaka Durga, where women present honored the divine feminine power.

During the muhurtham shot, Allu Aravind gave the first clap, and Surekha Konidela switched on the camera. Swapna Dutt handled the honorary direction.

Speaking at the event, Sunil Chainani from Applause Entertainment said that South Indian cinema is known for strong storytelling, and they are happy to enter Telugu cinema with such a meaningful project. The producers also shared that the story is deeply connected to Telugu culture and they feel blessed to start this journey.

Director Pradeep Maddali said this film is very close to his heart. He added that it is not just about devotion, but also about a man’s journey when he faces a higher power in life.
