Allari Naresh’s Film is Low-Budget Vishwambhara

Ever since the trailer of Allari Naresh’s latest film “RUM”, which is abbreviated to “Rambha Urvashi Menaka”, was released, the content started to look familiar. From the likes of Chiranjeevi’s Jagadeeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, to Rajendra Prasad’s Rambha-Rambabu, the idea of ‘apsaras’ from heaven coming to Earth and running after a human is an idea seen many times. But here’s the interesting part being discussed.

In recent times, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara has a similar concept of ‘apsaras’ coming from Vishwambhara lokam, coming to the earth, and the hero going there, though the movie is getting delayed. After watching the trailer of Allari Naresh’s movie, many are getting a feeling that this RUM is nothing but low-budget Vishwambhara. However, there are not many graphics in Allari Naresh’s film but only comedy and comedy everywhere.

That said, Allari Naresh has reinvented himself with his serious subjects these days, and comedy movies haven’t helped him in recent times. Now that he’s coming up with a full-on comedy movie through RUM, many are wondering if he could come back to the former hit-machine status with this movie.
