Allu Aravind Hints at Vijay Deverakonda’s Surprise Entry at The Girlfriend Prerelease!

Producer Allu Aravind totally stole the show at the Girlfriend trailer launch. The man started his speech with a joke that only he could pull off. When the host cheekily asked about his “first girlfriend,” Allu Aravind didn’t even blink, just grinned and said, “Geetha.” Yep, his production house, Geetha Arts. The crowd burst out laughing before he smoothly turned serious about the film.

He shared that The Girlfriend wasn’t supposed to be a movie at all. Director Rahul Ravindran had pitched it as a web series for Aha. But Aravind just couldn’t let go of that story. He kept asking, “What happened to that story?” until it finally turned into a film. He called it an emotional one that deserved a proper theatre experience.

Talking about Rashmika Mandanna, he couldn’t hide his admiration. He said she’s probably the only actress who could pull off such a heavy role and joked that a Best Actress award wouldn’t surprise him one bit. Then came this cute, kinda awkward moment, he looked at her and said, “I wish I had a daughter like you,” before quickly adding, “Since I don’t have one…” Everyone laughed, and Rashmika looked a bit shy but happy.
