Why Big Producers Avoided The Two Press Meets?

Some say that these biggies are doing the backend job, and they are now holding more meetings to make sure that the exhibitor-distributor issue gets resolved soon.

Why Big Producers Avoided The Two Press Meets?

Well, finally, two revolutionary press meets have shaken up Tollywood in the last couple of days, with one being the Exhibitors' press meet, followed by the Producers' meet. Though many can’t understand why these exhibitors and producers are fighting out in the public, when they have Film Chamber, Producers Council, and other apex bodies to resolve their issues, these press meets also led to some other doubts.

One of the biggest producers, and also very top-notch positioned producers, though they are not making movies in a row, are none other than Allu ARvind and Suresh Babu. They have both theatres, a distribution system, and post-production businesses as well. There’s no likes of Allu Arvind and Suresh Babu at the Active Producers Guild press meet, and that’s a stunner. Even Ashwini Dutt, whose production house is churning out biggies like Kalki 2898 AD Part 2, is not present, but their production house tweeted in support of the press meet a couple of hours later on Wednesday evening.

At the same time, there’s no presence of Dil Raju at the ‘Exhibitors’ meet, instead of his brother, Sirish Reddy. Because Dil Raju is the one who started his career as a distributor first and then started acquiring theatres, and got the moniker Nizam King for being the top exhibitor-distributor. He used to buy films on an NRA basis and released many biggies. So why would he not attend the exhibitors' meet is the question.
