Cinema and politics are correlated in the Telugu states, and this is evident if we look at the kind of relationship that’s actors share with contemporary politicians. Now we are going to witness a similar scenario with Allu Arjun and Revanth Reddy

Allu Cinemas is set to be officially inaugurated on March 12, with Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, expected to attend the launch ceremony.

The multiplex, promoted by Allu Arjun, is one of the most anticipated theatre projects in the Hyderabad region and is designed as a premium cinema destination for movie lovers.

According to sources, regular public screenings at the theatre will begin from March 19. The first films scheduled to be screened are Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Ustaad Bhagat Singh, marking the start of operations for the new multiplex.

The development has also drawn attention because of the speculation that followed the recent Sandhya Theatre incident, after which several rumours circulated about an alleged fallout between Allu Arjun and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Social media discussions and some political commentary suggested tensions between the actor and the state leadership.

However, the upcoming inauguration appears to present a different picture. With the Chief Minister himself attending the launch event of Allu Cinemas, the move indicates that there is no visible strain between the actor and the state government.

Industry observers say the event sends a clear signal that the relationship between the Telugu film industry and the Telangana government continues to remain cordial, despite the speculation that surfaced in the aftermath of the Sandhya Theatre controversy.
