Atlee Picked Allu Arjun Over Salman Khan?

Indian cinema is currently witnessing a new kind of phenomena with South Indian actors, continuing to dominate the cinema scene over the conventional Bollywood superstars. It has now reached a point where South Indian stars are being valued more than the big cons of Bollywood who ruled Indian cinema for many decades.

The same can be understood if we look at the fact that Allu Arjun got more priority than Bollywood superstar Salman Khan with regard to his upcoming project.

Earlier talented Tamil filmmaker Atlee was supposed to make a film with Salman Khan and this project was nearly confirmed as well. The director had even approached Salman and got his script finalised before officially, announcing the project.

However, things did not go quite as planned for this film as the Director and Hero were not on mutual terms when it comes to materialisation when it mattered the most. Subsequently, the project took forever to get announced, despite all the attention had in the Bollywood media circles, and also in film circles.

In the end, at least ended up sidelining this project with Salman Khan and instead moved to the film with Allu Arjun. Now he is on the verge of announcing his next project with Allu Arjun and related arrangements are being made now.

It turned out to be that Tamil director preferred Allu Arjun, who is a huge deal after blockbuster Pushpa, over the conventional Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. This is the kind of cultural shift that Bollywood stars must start to prepare for as we could be more such cases in the due course.
