Raaka Update: Allu Arjun’s Film Likely to Shift Beyond 2027

The much awaited film Raaka starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee is creating huge buzz across the country. This big project has already raised expectations because it brings together two of the most successful names in Indian cinema. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what this combination delivers on the big screen.

However, recent updates suggest that the movie may not release in 2027 as earlier planned. Initially, the film was expected to hit theatres in April 2027. But now, there are strong chances that the release could be pushed to December 2027 or even Sankranthi 2028.

The delay rumors started after a picture from the Mumbai shooting location surfaced online. It showed crew identity cards with validity till April 2027. This indicates that the shooting itself may continue until that time, leaving less room for post-production work before release.

Another major reason for the delay is the heavy post production involved in the film. Reports say that an international technical team is working on it, and the post-production alone might take more than eight months. Since Raaka is said to be a fantasy action film with high-end visuals, extra time is needed to achieve top quality.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is putting in a lot of effort for his role. He is reportedly spending around three to four hours every day on makeup and preparation to get the perfect look. His transformation has already impressed fans especially the unique hand gesture style which is now trending on social media.
