By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Feb 2025 10:54 AM ISTIt is a known fact that since a few months, a clear divide has emerged between Allu Arjun and the Mega fans. The conflict became more evident when Allu Arjun stopped referring to his fanbase as Mega fans and instead called them Allu Army. This change sparked debates and criticism especially when he faced legal troubles. Some Mega fans even mocked him, questioning, "Where is his Army and why no protests on roads?"
Despite the backlash, Allu Arjun did not change his stance. During the Pushpa 2 thank-you meet, he reiterated his decision. He firmly stated that he would no longer use the term Mega fans. Instead, he concluded his speech by addressing his supporters as "Allu Army" and assured them, "I will make you more mad, mad, mad proud."
From his words, it is evident that he aims to establish his unique identity within the Mega family. He referred to his blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo as just the beginning, stating that "Pushpa, Pushpa 2 are the next steps" and that his future projects would further strengthen his Allu Army.
By continuously using "Allu Army" in his speech, Allu Arjun reinforced his determination to separate from the Mega identity. His approach suggests that he wants to build his fanbase independently rather than relying on the Mega brand.
