Allu Arjun–Prashanth Neel: Not Happening Soon?

Pan-India’s one of the biggest stars, Allu Arjun’s lineup after Raaka is slowly becoming the talk. No doubt, there are Big names, Big directors, and Big expectations too. Of them, names like Prashanth Neel and Sandeep Reddy Vanga are being discussed. On paper, it looks like a dream lineup. But here is the catch regarding a Prashanth Neel film.

The Prashanth Neel project is not as simple as it looks, as right now, the director is fully occupied with Jr NTR’s film, tentatively titled “Dragon,” which is being planned as a two-part project. And this is not a quick one. Both Part 1 and Part 2 are expected to be mounted on a massive scale. That means a long commitment. Later, he has Prabhas’ Salaar 2 in the making, and the production house recently confirmed this on Shruti Haasan’s birthday eve. So, when will he even start something new?

On the other side, Bunny is not free either. He is currently focused on Raaka with Atlee. Immediately after that, he is expected to move to a film with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Easily, these two projects will take away a chunk of two years without an iota of doubt. That makes things clear. Both actor and director are locked. Busy with their own big projects. Which means this combination, even if it happens, will take time.

On one side, the idea itself is exciting. Bunny’s screen presence with Neel’s mass world-building has huge potential. But then, timelines are the real issue here. For now, this looks more like a plan than an immediate project.
