Is Allu Arjun Becoming The Highest Paid Actor?

Of course, if there is one star who is the highest-paid so far in the whole of Indian cinema’s history, it is said to be Superstar Prabhas, who is taking a huge upfront fee. However, it looks like Allu Arjun is breaking the barriers and climbing high up on the spot, but that comes with a sort of risk and luck as well.

Apparently, Allu Arjun’s Raaka is being made with a budget of more than ₹ 500 crores, with some saying that the budget will be touching ₹700 crores by the time of release. However, at this juncture, if Allu Arjun is paid around ₹250 crores, a sum he has made from Pushpa franchise’s success earlier, surely the budget to produce the film will get tightened. For that reason, he’s said to have taken a production-sharing deal.

For the recent Irumudi, rather than paying the ₹10 crores demanded by Raviteja, Mythri Movie Makers gave him ₹2 crores up front and the rest as shares. Now the hero is walking with more than ₹30 crores in his pocket. In a similar fashion, if Raaka goes well, they say that Allu Arjun will walk away with more than ₹400 crores. For that to happen, Raaka needs to be a big blockbuster, however.

On that note, all these numbers are doing the rounds in the film circles, but the original numbers might be far above or below the speculated figures. In any case, Allu Arjun is likely to become the highest-paid actor if Atlee’s Raaka works out at the box office.
