Allu Aravind Spellbound By Chay's Climax Performance

Thandel has emerged as a massive hit, marking yet another successful outing for Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Geetha Arts, the film has captivated audiences, leading the makers to celebrate its triumph with the ‘Love Tsunami’ event. Nagarjuna Akkineni attended the grand success meet as the special guest.

Allu Aravind who presented the film is extremely happy with the success of the movie. During the event, veteran producer Allu Aravind showered praise on Naga Chaitanya’s performance. Aravind highlighted a pivotal pre-climax scene where Chay’s character is left heartbroken upon seeing a wedding card.

Allu Aravind expressed his admiration, recalling how he had predicted Thandel would be a game-changer for Chaitanya but was still blown away by his transformation on screen.

“We always knew this film would be a new journey for Chay. But while watching that scene, I thought to myself, ‘Abbo Chaitu… Yedo Anukunnam, Yededo Chesadu’,” he remarked, acknowledging the depth of emotion Chaitanya brought to the role.

Aravind also revealed how the team had requested Chay to dedicate himself entirely to the film, given the extensive preparation and transformation required. Chay, in turn, assured them that he would not take up any other projects until Thandel was completed, further showcasing his commitment to the role.

Allu Aravind extended his gratitude to Chay for bringing his wife, Sobhita, to the event, marking the couple’s first appearance at a film-related gathering.
