Buzz: NTR’s War 2 Is Better Than Alia’s Alpha

After getting trolled massively for WAR 2, for showcasing soldiers belonging to the Indian Army (including Hrithik Roshan) as villains, then showcasing other twists to the tale, and then crafting illogical scenes that have lots of loopholes, and carving out bikini scenes, Yash Raj Films literally took a huge time to bring out the “Alpha” movie.

This one, featuring Ali Bhatt in the lead and Bobby Deol as the villain, got delayed hugely, and everyone thought that the production house made massive changes to the film after looking at how “Dhurandhar” worked out. As the film Alpha was released today, the initial reviews coming from senior Bollywood critics and audiences are quite shocking. Some critics even mentioned that War 2, featuring Hrithik and Jr NTR, is better than this.

Not only does the film lack an emotional connection, but some say that YRF continues to portray Indian army personnel foolishly. After watching Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2, surely audiences are not ready for anything inferior to those two films when it comes to the spy genre. Some say that other than the glamour tropes of Alia and Sharvari, there’s nothing really inside the film, and one finds it tough to sit through it.

Many are advising YRF to stop creating these spy verse movies and think about what they are crafting, as Alpha is more unrelatable and unbelievable than WAR 2 in the first place. But then, War 2 has two crazy performers like Hrithik and NTR, and that is a saviour, but Alpha doesn’t even have one, as the likes of Alia and Bobby pale in comparison.
