Ameer Log is an upcoming Telugu film produced by Madhavi Reddy Soma under the Awwal Number Productions banner. The movie is directed by Ramana Reddy Soma, with Manohar Reddy Manchuri serving as co-producer. MC Hari, Manoj and Sashidhar play the main roles, while Vedha Jalandhar, Ravan Nitturu, Vishwender Reddy and Sai Yogi appear in important roles. Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media is releasing the film in Telugu on August 21.

As part of the promotions, actress Vedha Jalandhar spoke about her role, the film and her experience working with the team.

Vedha started her acting journey in 2019. Two of her earlier films were screened at international film festivals, but they did not get theatrical releases. She later trained in theatre to improve her acting skills. She says that learning acting and working in films has been a satisfying journey for her.

Talking about her role in Ameer Log, Vedha said that she plays a girl-next-door type of character. Her role is also designed to inspire women. She revealed that her mother is her biggest inspiration in life, and some qualities of her mother can be seen in her character. Being direct and speaking honestly are qualities she learned from her mother.

Vedha got the opportunity through an audition. Bashir Master informed her about the auditions, and she attended them. After seeing her performance, director Ramana Reddy immediately selected her for the role.

The actress said that people who watched the film have especially noticed her character. She is happy that audiences are remembering her despite having worked in only a few films. Vedha also said that she wants to choose roles that have importance in the story rather than accepting every opportunity.

Interestingly, biryani also has an important place in Ameer Log. According to Vedha, the food element has been naturally connected to the story and helps the film connect with audiences.

She also spoke about working with sync sound. Although recording surrounding sounds made the shooting process challenging, she said the entire team cooperated well. Even the local people supported the film unit during the shoot.

Vedha is not disappointed that only a few of her films have been released in six years. She believes that the quality of roles and audience acceptance are more important than the number of releases.

She praised music director Smaran and said his background score added more emotion to the film. She also highlighted that every character in Ameer Log has its own importance and that audiences can connect with them.

Vedha believes that language and dialect will not be a barrier. According to her, emotions are universal, and the film can connect with audiences from different regions and backgrounds.
