Life, Ameesha Patel says, is like a river, it flows in its own way, refusing to bend. The actress, known for hits like Narasimhudu with NTR, Badri with Pawan Kalyan, Parama Veera Chakra with Balakrishna, and Naani with Mahesh Babu, has made her mark in both Bollywood and Tollywood. While her Telugu film appearances have reduced, she made a strong return with Gadar-2 in Bollywood. At 50, Ameesha remains single, confident, and unafraid to follow her own path.

On love and marriage, she is straightforward. “I am not against marriage. I have tried to get married many times. But I do not want people who ask me to change after marriage. I do not like changing my profession for them. That is why I will marry only someone who respects my thoughts after marriage,” she said. For Ameesha, personal happiness should not require giving up her career or identity.

She also shared a past heartbreak, explaining why she walked away. “Even though I loved a man in the past, he told me to stop doing films, so I broke up,” she revealed. Her decision shows that she values her work and independence above anything else. Marriage, for her, must be a partnership built on respect, not compromise.

Ameesha says the industry has changed. Today, actors balance marriage and careers. She proves women can stay true to themselves, and love shouldn’t limit life.
