Ananya Nagalla, known for Pottel, Vakeel Saab, and Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes, has no new films so far this year. In a recent interview, she spoke about how tough it is for Telugu actresses to find work in their own industry.
She said Telugu women get just 20% of the opportunities, while in other states, most roles go to local talent. According to Ananya, this makes it harder for Telugu actresses who already face family and social pressure.
