Ram Pothineni’s Andhra King Taluka OTT Locked!

The shoot for Andhra King Taluka is almost done. Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashri Borse are filming the last few scenes in Hyderabad. Directed by Mahesh Babu P, of Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty fame, the film is moving fast. The team plans to wrap up soon and is already preparing for the final pumpkin-breaking ceremony.

At the same time, music promotions are kicking off. The first single drops this Friday. Meanwhile, the team has locked a digital deal. Netflix has picked up the OTT rights for the film, which is a solid move considering how tough the streaming market has become for many recent releases.

What helps Andhra King Taluka stand out is its theme, it dives into the crazy fan culture across Andhra Pradesh. Kannada actor Upendra plays an important role, and the film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Music is by the Vivek, Mervin duo, who are expected to bring a fresh sound to the album.

No big statements or flashy marketing yet, but everything’s falling into place. From shoot updates to songs and now the OTT deal, the makers seem to be ticking off boxes steadily. Now it’s just a matter of how well it lands when it all goes public.
