Anil Kapoor Joins Hands With Jr NTR Again

Though Bollywood’s senior star Anil Kapoor debuted with a Kannada film early in his career, the actor hasn’t done any South films thereafter. But after he proved his mettle in the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s father, in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, he became closer to the South audience too.

In Jr NTR’s Bollywood debut film WAR 2, the actor shared screen space with the Telugu star, acting in the role of his boss. While the film, the Hrithik Roshan starrer directed by Ayan Mukherjee, hasn’t done well at the Box Office, it looks like Anil Kapoor’s combination with NTR has impressed director Prashanth Neel.

The KGF maker, who is now carving Dragon with Jr NTR, is said to have roped in Anil Kapoor for a special role in their movie. The senior Bollywood star will be seen in a powerful role alongside Jr NTR in the action film that revolves around the drug cartel that shook India back in the 60s and 70s.

That will be Anil Kapoor’s second collaboration with Jr NTR, and there are reports that Yash Raj Films is likely to produce another standalone spy film with the Telugu star, and the Bollywood senior might join that movie too.
