By: Priya Chowdhary Nuthalapti | 23 Dec 2025 10:32 AM ISTThe upcoming Telugu movie Dhandora is all set to hit theatres on the 25th of this month. Ahead of its release, the makers organized a pre-release event in Hyderabad on Monday evening. The event saw the presence of the cast, crew, and several industry guests. One of the major highlights of the evening was the interesting speech delivered by director Anil Ravipudi.
Speaking at the event, Anil Ravipudi shared his honest views on film promotions and content. He clearly stated that promotions alone cannot guarantee a film’s success. Emphasising the importance of strong storytelling, he said, "Promotions are only useful to grab attention for a movie." He further added, "Only the content of a film can make people buy tickets and come to theatres." His words struck a chord with many, especially at a time when aggressive promotions often dominate cinema marketing.
Dhandora has strong backing from Loukya Entertainments, led by Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni. The production house is known for backing films like the 2012 comedy Bedurulanka and the National Award-winning film Colour Photo. This support has raised expectations around Dhandora.
The film features a talented ensemble cast including Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, and Anusha. Music for the film is composed by Mark K. Robin, while direction is handled by Muralikanth.
