Sankrantiki Vasthunnam success is a case study - Anil Ravipudi

Sankrantiki Vasthunnam starring Victory Venkatesh has become a huge blockbuster grossing over Rs.218 crores worldwide in just 8 days and it even earned Rs.100 crores share. With such a record breaking success for Sankranti 2025, blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi completed 10 years in Industry, starting with Pataas.
Talking about his decade long journey, the director stated that he is happy to have formed a great bond with each actor he worked with. He said, "I am grateful to Nandamuri Kalyanram for making me a director. Within a limited budget, we did Pataas and it became a triple blockbuster establishing me firmly as a director. Then, I worked with Sai Dharam Tej for Supreme, Ravi Teja for Raja The Great, Venkatesh for F2, Superstar Mahesh for Sarileru Neekevvaru, Nandamuri Balakrishna for Bhagavanth Kesari and Venkatesh for F3, Sankrantiki Vasthunnam, now. With each actor I have a great bond and I feel blessed for this journey."
He stated that he thinks like an audience member while writing a screenplay and watches movies on every friday, whichever releases. He remarked that he keeps updating himself and learn from previous films. He also said that he would be careful to not repeat his characters for next film and that is helping him in making better films.
Taking about Sankrantiki Vasthunnam success, he attributed the credit to audiences. He stated that over ten years, he earned the trust of audiences and that is what made this film a huge success. He remarked that the film's success is a case study for him. He thanked audiences for giving him a place in their hearts and making him a family member.
Anil Ravipudi stated that he thought SV will be a successful film like F2 but it broke all his expectations. He reiterated that he would be working for audiences and make films that would entertain them. He marked it as his USP and stated that he would never leave it.
About his next films, he stated that it would be premature to talk about it. He expressed his wish to work with Nagarjuna to make a film like Hello Brother and stated that he is working towards presenting Megastar Chiranjeevi in a never-before-seen avatar in their film.
