Update: Venky-Anil Script & Release Date Talk

While pan-India action dramas are dominating headlines, directors like Anil Ravipudi still strongly believe entertainment and comedy can shake the box office bigger than anything else. After delivering a ₹300+ crores gross this Sankranthi, through Megastar Chiru’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, he’s now coming up with his next dynamite, targeting the same season next year.

The much-talked-about multi-starrer featuring Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is now gearing up to begin shoot from July as per insider reports. After wrapping the script, Anil’s team is busy with pre-production work, and the inside buzz itself is sounding explosive. Apparently, the script is loaded with hilarious situational comedy, if Anil Ravipudi manages to transfer that same energy onto screen, theatres could literally erupt with laughter.

Venkatesh is already one of Telugu cinema’s finest timing-based entertainers. Already, Anil worked with him twice, on F2 and F3 movies, so definitely they will be rocking it. On the other hand, Kalyan Ram usually carries a more serious and intense image, and he has to do a lot more comedy now to get into Anil-Venky groove.

Guess what, Anil is once again targeting next Sankranthi, as he is confident that the film’s shooting will be wrapped in just 4 months span. Interestingly, G. V. Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film.
