In recent times, though a song or two of Anirudh Ravichander are getting huge attention, surely his background score is not getting one. While the Monica song worked out big time in Coolie, the background score hasn’t even helped amplify the impact of the botched narrative. However, proving all of his detractors wrong, he’s now back with a bang and blockbuster.

From exploring the vocals of young and unknown singers to creating a fusion-like music between the western raps and the Indian classical aalaps, Anirudh has expanded his range and creative prowess and created fantastic new sounds for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut film as a hero, which is #DC. The film has witnessed a new and fresh wave of stunningness from Anirudh, and that’s what worked big time inside theatres. Amongst all the technical finesse the film has shown, Anirudh’s amazing score is something that worked big time.

Needless to say, after some setbacks in recent times, Anirudh has now proved his calibre and scale again, and DC is a testimony to the fact that he’s on the way to becoming legendary. Whether he will deliver similar music for upcoming movies of the likes of Allu Arjun and other star heroes has to be seen now, with Jailer 2 being his immediate upcoming outing.
