Anirudh Not Delivering As Expected!

Anirudh is the one director for whom the producers are willing to spend crores of money. He is the top music composer in the South right now and he has been elevating the films with his terrific music over the past few years now. His craze grew multifold after 'Jailer' as his songs and BGM are regarded as the main reasons for the film's success. His demands is increasing with each passing day but there is one film for which is unable to deliver chartbusters.

It is Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller 'Jawan'. This much-awaited film has a lot riding on it and Anirudh's BGM in the announcement video made everyone go crazy. People have been waiting to hear his music for SRK's film ever since but the result is not as expected. Till date, three songs were released and none of them turned out to be chartbusters. His work in prevue was scintillating and praiseworthy but his songs are not able to impress the people in the Northern belt.

'Zinda Banda', 'Chaleya' and 'Not Ramayya Vastavayya' failed to make the audience groove. Though they are not completely bad, people expected more from Anirudh. It is his first time working for a Hindi film and it is his first collaboration with Atlee which may be the reasons for his average output. Also, there are complaints that Anirudh's best work comes only for Tamil films as his music for Telugu films too did not become huge hits. It is not entirely true as his work in 'Jersey' and 'Agnyathavaasi' are amazing.

We need to wait and see if 'Jawan' songs become popular after the movie releases just like 'Pathan' or not. Anirudh is also working on NTR's 'Devara' and Vijay Deverakonda's film with Gautham Thinnanuri. We need to see how he delivers for these flicks.
