Standup comedian Anudeep Katikala recently shared an apology through a reel on social media. He said he is sorry if his words hurt anyone. This came after his latest comedy video created a big controversy among fans.

Anudeep is a Hyderabad based comedian who performs live shows and uploads videos online. In one of his recent performances he made jokes about popular actors like Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan. These jokes did not go well with some fans especially those who strongly support the Mega family.

In his video, Anudeep spoke about feminism and relationships. He said that men should feel proud if their wives earn more money. He used Ram Charan as an example and called him confident and secure. However some people misunderstood his words and felt he used the wrong language.

He also made a joke about divorce while talking about Pawan Kalyan. He said people can learn how to handle separation in a peaceful way. His intention was to say that divorce should not always be seen as something negative. But many fans felt this joke was disrespectful.

After the video went viral many fans reacted angrily on social media. Some people even gave serious warnings and threats. A few fans reportedly went to a comedy venue asking for Anudeep and created tension there. Other comedians present at the venue were also disturbed by the situation.

Anudeep later explained that his aim was not to insult anyone. He said he wanted to normalize topics like feminism and divorce through humor. He also mentioned that he makes jokes about many actors and not just one person. He added that audiences should understand the intention behind comedy.
