'Tillu' Director Agrees To Anupama Saying 'No' At First!

We all know how it became tough for the team of 'Tillu Square' to find a suitable heroine. After the success of 'DJ Tillu', the makers kickstarted 'Tillu Square' and tried to rope in a lot of actresses. Many names were considered but nothing worked out. It fell into the hands of Kerala girl Anupama Parameswaran and there were reports that she opted out of the project as well. But she ended up being the heroine of this movie which is about to be released on 29th March.

During her interaction with the press, Anupama said that it would have been stupid of her to reject Lilly's character and this movie. Recently, the movie's director Mallik Ram talked about their struggles regarding the heroine selection. He confirmed the news regarding Anupama okaying the film at the start and walking out of it. She joined the movie unit once again. He reportedly stated that other actresses like Madonna Sebastian and Meenakshi Choudhary were also considered and a few of them did look tests too.

However, the director stated that only Anupama would have done justice to the character. She came into the project, walked away and rejoined the film. There were reports that bold scenes and a few other situations were the reason for Anupama to walk out of the movie but the director claimed that it was because of dates issues and nothing else. The promotional material which released till date generated good buzz on the movie. Anupama is looking very beautiful and glamorous in the movie and fans are eagerly waiting for the end of this month to watch this crazy project.
