Is Anushka Joining Allu Arjun’s AA22xA6?

There is a lot of buzz around the upcoming big film starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee. This movie, currently called AA22xA6, is already creating huge excitement among fans. While the makers have not shared many details yet, new rumors about the cast are getting attention.

Recently, reports suggested that Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma might join this film. If this news becomes true, it will be her first Telugu movie. However, it is important to note that this is not officially confirmed. Neither the film team nor Anushka Sharma has spoken about it yet. So, for now, it remains only a rumor.

Anushka Sharma has not been very active in films in recent years. She was earlier expected to play cricketer Jhulan Goswami in a biopic, but that project did not move forward. Her last appearance was a small role in the film Qala in 2022. Since 2024, she has been living in London with her husband Virat Kohli and their two children.

Coming to AA22xA6, the film is said to be made on a very large scale. It is expected to have a unique story based on a “parallel universe” concept. Deepika Padukone is already confirmed as the female lead. There are also rumors that Rashmika Mandanna might play a negative role in the film. Another interesting update is that Allu Arjun may be seen in multiple roles, which has increased curiosity among fans.

The makers have not yet announced the release date. However, there are expectations that the teaser might be released on April 8, 2026, which is also director Atlee’s birthday. Music for the film will be composed by Sai Abhyankkar.

Apart from this project, Allu Arjun is also working on another film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is tentatively titled AA23.
