Release Date in 10 days, but no trailer till now!

Telugu cinema is currently undergoing a dry season where not many films are able to generate substantial revenues at the box office. So the expectation is that the upcoming films for the reminder of the year would be able to undo the thirst and become hits at the box office.

In this context, we have an interesting new film in the form of Ghaati which us Anushka Shetty in the lead role. This film was originally postponed from earlier this year to 11 July.

However, despite the fact that there is just barely 10 days to go for the release of the film, the promotional campaign still hasn’t started. The trailer of the film has not been released, and there is no update on whether the film would actually be released in theatres on 11 July.

With no sort of promotional material, including new posters, teaser or trailer, it appears that the film is as good as postponed, and there is no way that it would be releasing in theatres on 11 July.

The lack of the promotional material is a clear indication that the release is not likely to happen according to plan, and the film could get postponed to a later date from the mentioned date in July.

This would essentially mean that this interesting collaboration between Anushka Shetty and Krish Jagarlamudi would be postponed again to a little date. It is sad to see such a content oriented film, which is showing decent promise, getting postponed so many times due to undisclosed reasons.
