The craze for Tollywood senior hero Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna is unparalleled. From school-going kids to senior citizens, Balakrishna finds fans across ages. At the same time, many actors admire Balakrishna's work within the film industry and have great things to discuss.

Recently, renowned actor Appaji Ambarisha shared some remarkable insights about Balakrishna's dedication and generosity during an interview. He particularly highlighted the depth of Balakrishna's commitment to his roles and his willingness to do whatever it takes for a film.

Appaji Ambarisha recounted an incident while shooting for the NTR biopic in which he played the role of Jeevan Reddy. While they were portraying a moment from NTR's real life, there was a scene where Nannapani Rajkumari's character breaks bangles in front of senior NTR and then spits on his face. The director insisted on making it look as realistic as possible.

Appaji Ambarisha explained, "In that scene, the artist is too afraid to perform it in front of Balakrishna garu. But, he was sportive enough to tell the artist, 'Spit on me.' I was shocked hearing this, and he explained to the artist that they were just recreating what had happened in the past and only if she spits for real, it will look natural."

He continued, "In another scene, I should confront Balayya directly with a provoking look. I performed it with many inhibitions, but after the scene, Balakrishna came up to me to congratulate me. Then, after the pack-up, he returned only to meet me because he forgot to inform me about his departure. This gesture reflected Balakrishna's kindness and cultural values."

Appaji shared that from the next day until the shooting was completed, Balakrishna would always set up a chair next to him, inviting him to sit and engage in friendly conversations. He noted that Balakrishna was particularly fond of discussing his father, NT Rama Rao's work and would openly share his experiences and insights, including stories about cricket.
