Rahman said filmmaking once felt pure and creative, but now often relies on predictable patterns. He noted this problem exists in both Bollywood and Hollywood.
While directors today are clear on what they want, Rahman said, too many want recycled material. He warned that this limits new ideas and growth.
Rahman urged the industry to break free from this cycle. He believes audiences are ready for original content and that it’s time to deliver something new.
