OMG! AR Rahman Got Three More Telugu Projects

The super success of the Chikri Chikri song has brought legendary composer AR Rahman into the spotlight. While his previous movies like Thug Life and Raayan were never talked about for their songs, surely Ram Charan’s Peddi made Rahman sought-after again. Strangely, the Telugu industry is literally after him now.

AR Rahman was supposed to give direct re-entry into Telugu films with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimhareddy back in 2017-18, but he backed out at that time due to jam-packed schedules. Now, reports are coming up that for the upcoming Chiru film that will be directed by KS Bobby, AR Rahman has almost been finalised.

At the same time, music composer Vikram K Kumar, who usually works with the likes of Anup Rubens, is now opting for AR Rahman as his next film is likely to feature Vijay Devarakonda as the lead. And also, it’s coming out that even ace director Sukumar is considering Rahman for his next, which has Ram Charan in the lead again. If all these projects materialise for Rahman, there will be three Telugu projects for him in the pipeline.

With the likes of Anirudh, Thaman, and Devi Sri Prasad boring folks in recent times with Telugu films, it looks like AR Rahman is getting all the attention from Tollywood.
