Arjun Reddy is one of the most important films in the careers of actor Vijay Deverakonda and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film became a trendsetter in Telugu cinema and created a huge impact after its release. However, the journey of the movie was not easy. The team faced several financial problems while making the film.

Vijay Deverakonda had already tasted success with Pelli Choopulu. Still, getting enough money for Arjun Reddy was a major challenge. According to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s brother Pranay Reddy Vanga, a production company initially agreed to invest around 50 percent of the film’s budget.

An agreement was also made with the company. But after the shooting started, the production house became worried about the film’s success. It reportedly decided to step away from the project.

This left the Vanga family in a difficult situation. They had to take responsibility for producing the entire movie. The family had to arrange money to complete the film. Pranay Reddy Vanga revealed that they were even ready to sell their mango orchard if more money was needed.

The decision was a big risk at that time. However, their belief in the film helped them continue the project. After its release, Arjun Reddy became a huge success. It received strong attention from audiences and became a major turning point for Vijay Deverakonda and Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

The film later became known for its bold story, performances and different style of filmmaking. Vijay became a major star among young audiences, while Sandeep Reddy Vanga gained recognition as a director with a strong and unique style.

Meanwhile, Pranay Reddy Vanga also spoke about Sandeep’s upcoming projects. He clarified some reports about Spirit and said that Chiranjeevi and Korean actor Don Lee are not part of the film. He also confirmed that Prakash Raj has left the project.

He added that discussions between Sandeep and Mahesh Babu have happened, but their film has not been officially confirmed. After Spirit, Sandeep is expected to work on Animal Park.
