"Pawan Kalyan Told Me We Are Here for You" : Action King Arjun

At a recent media interaction, Director and actor Arjun Sarja spoke openly about his upcoming film Seetha Payanam. The film stars Niranjan and marks the debut of his daughter Aishwarya Arjun as a heroine. It is produced under Shri Ram Films International and is set to release on February 14.

When the anchor asked Arjun why he decided to release the film in four languages, Arjun said, “Earlier I made films in two or three languages. But this story has a universal emotion. Anyone can connect to it, no matter which language they speak. It is a feel-good film that suits all audiences. That is why I wanted a wider release.”

When questioned about producing a film with his own daughter and whether it affected the budget, Arjun replied, “Working with family gives me comfort. I know where to spend and how to manage expenses. I have full control, so it becomes easier.”

The anchor then asked why he chose Telugu cinema to introduce Aishwarya. Arjun answered emotionally, “The Telugu industry has given me so much love and respect. I wanted to introduce my daughter here as a way of giving back.”

When asked if another hero was considered earlier, Arjun explained, “Yes, we initially thought of Vishwak Sen. But sometimes things change. We did not alter the story even a little. Niranjan stepped in. There are no hard feelings. Life moves in circles. If the right time comes, we may work together.”

Talking about launching his daughter instead of a son, Arjun said, “Daughters are also equal heirs. We should support their dreams. My daughter loves acting, so I encouraged her.”

The anchor asked what kind of film Seetha Payanam is. Arjun shared, “It is a mature story with many emotions. It is not just about love. It talks about family and even patriotism in a meaningful way.”

About action sequences, Arjun said, “There are action scenes for mass audiences, but they are part of the story. Nothing is forced. Music director Anup Rubens has given beautiful songs and background score.”

When asked about the censor response, Arjun said proudly, “They were very emotional after watching it. The film received a clean ‘U’ certificate without any cuts.”

The anchor also brought up Power Star Pawan Kalyan attending the film’s launch. Arjun smiled and said, “I met him only a few times. When I invited him, he immediately agreed. He said he would stay for five minutes, but we spoke for three hours. He is very honest. At the event, he told me, ‘We are here for you.’ That meant a lot to me.”

When asked about entering politics, Arjun laughed and said, “Politics is not for me. I am happy directing and acting. I want to do good for people, but in my own way.”

Finally, Arjun concluded, “Seetha Payanam is made for everyone—from youngsters to elders. It is a film families can watch together in theatres.”
