He spoke openly about his father Shakti Prasad, who was also a respected hero in the Kannada film industry. Shakti Prasad acted in more than 220 films, but interestingly, he did not want Arjun to enter the film industry.
Arjun revealed that his father always dreamed of seeing him as a police officer, not an actor. According to Arjun, his father believed cinema was a difficult and uncertain field. Even though Shakti Prasad himself was a successful actor, he wanted his son to choose a more stable and disciplined profession. Arjun clearly said, "My father never wanted me to come into films. He wanted to see me as a police officer."
However, life had different plans for Arjun Sarja. He slowly entered films and worked very hard to prove himself. Over the years, he became one of the most popular action heroes in South Indian cinema. Looking back at his journey, Arjun feels that even the things that look negative at first can have some positive meaning. He explained this thought beautifully by saying, "Even in something that looks negative, there is always some positivity. The journey itself gives you strength."
Arjun said that this belief helped him shape his own character in his latest film Seetha Payanam. He mentioned that the emotional depth of that character came from his real-life experiences as a son and as a father. He also shared that working on this film was extra special because it helped him support and guide his daughter Aishwarya Arjun in her acting journey.
