'2 Countries' is successful in Malayalam and a remake is coming in Telugu now. N Shankar, the director of Jai Bolo Telangana is the director and the movie was planned with Sunil playing the lead role. The original has Dilip and Mamta Mohan Das in the lead roles. The director made changes to the script and has been coming with it now.
The latest update is that the regular shoot of the film has been wrapped up and the makers entered the post-production phase. The film 2 Countries was produced on the director's home banner named Mahalakshmi Arts. Manisha Raj played the heroine besides Sunil and Gopi Sundar is the music director.
