20 Kg Armour for Top Heroine

Deepika Padukone is doing something similar to what Anushka Sharma has done for her upcoming flick 'Bombay Velvet'. While Anushka sports an outfit weighing 35 kg for her period drama, Deepika will wear a 20 kg armour for the epic action flick 'Bajirao Mastani'.
Apparently, 'Bajirao Mastani' directed by Sanjay Leela Mastani is a war film. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra play the lead roles. While Ranveer will be seen as a king, Priyanka plays his first wife and Deepika does the role of his second wife.
Deepika Padukone will get opportunity to show her action skills this time. She will undergo extensive training to learn how to wield a sword and other war field techniques. Wearing that bulky armour, Deepika will be taking on the opponents in the battle field and its a big challenge ahead.
