2.O' collected around Rs 75 crore on Day 1 & Rs 40 crore on Day 2 in the domestic circuit. These figures were just decent for a film made with a budget of Rs 550 crore.
In Telugu States & Tamil Nadu, Two Days Gross of '2.O' is nearly Rs 30 crore each. Hindi Version managed to collect anywhere around Rs 37 crore during this period. Other South Indian Versions generated a revenue of Rs 18.5 crore so far.
First Weekend will be so crucial for any new release, particularly Saturday & Sunday. '2.O' has to collect not less than Rs 100 crore in India in these two days to stay in the hunt for break-even.
At least now, Makers will have to focus on some aggressive promotions. The openings could have been lot better if they concentrated on this aspect prior to the release. Better late than never, This is the last chance to draw the crowds to theaters in big numbers.
